The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is composed of a multitude of ethnicities, including Punjabis, Balocis, Hazaras, and Sindhis as exclaimed by the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation on a page titled "People of Pakistan". The majority of the population is Punjabi, they highly value community and equality, resulting in the people creating "social networks founded on local (kinship-based) group needs as opposed to individual wants" ("The People of Pakistan"). Along with this village-like group, an ethnic-linguistic tribe named the Baloch are located near Iran and Afghanistan, and this ethnic group can be traced back to the 10th century AD. The Baloch are divided and comprised of many clans that report to a single chief ("The People of Pakistan"). Although some demographic regions are centered around more rural areas, Pakistan also includes very urban areas, such as Islamabad (Pakistan's capital), which contains approximately 1 million people according to Wikipedia in the article "Islamabad".

Pakistan faces many obstacles in all aspects of life, daily, with a very corrupt government ruling the country; public health diminishes, the advantageous effect of education is reduced, and wealths outweighs justice. The article "Pakistan Corruption Report," claims that the judicial system is more so governed by the rich rather than law, as many local courts use their discretion to ensure that those with power and payment do now waver. Paying bribes is common action that only the affluent, religious, or political leaders can afford, therefore, sustaining a constant pattern of injustice as the poor stay poor while the rich get richer. There are freedoms granted and guaranteed by their Constitution, yet restrictions by the censoring government are present. Although in theory Pakistan permits Freedom of Expression, in practice their are anti-blasphemy laws placed, so that citizens may not speak in offense to the Prophet in the religion of Islam ("Pakistan Corruption Report"). Insulting the God would result in major consequences, and the restriction has produced notorious cases with treacherous outcomes like the case of Asia Bibi mentioned in my paper. Additionally, their health status as stated in a performance report by the World Health Organization, Pakistan ranks 122 out of 190 countries for health systems as noted in the Wikipedia article "Health in Pakistan". This somewhat dire nation has the lowest life expectancy rate in South Asia and more than half of Pakistan is illiterate ("Health in Pakistan"). The culmination of corruption, inadequate healthcare, and insufficient education troubles this country greatly, and these problems will continue and increase in severity unless answered.
